WordPress 4.9 is here and with it come come great changes. Among them:

  1. Gallery widget that can go wherever you put widgets
  2. Add media option to the text widget
  3. Use shortcodes in text widgets
  4. Schedule theme customiser changes in advance
  5. Preview theme customiser changes
  6. Error messages displayed under “publish” in the theme customiser
  7. The menu creation flow is more intuitive
  8. When you change your theme, you don’t lose your widgets
  9. Confirmation for editing syntax (really useful if you decide to mess with your code)

If you’re looking for managed WordPress hosting, you can get DreamPress here.

If you’re looking for Divi, the best theme on the market (IMHO), you can get Divi here.

(These are an affiliate links. At no cost to you, I get a tiny cut. I would promote DreamPress even without being an affiliate.)
